Statement of Intent for Innovation in Health Scotland is a world leading centre for innovation in health through partnership working between Government, NHS Scotland, Social Care, Industry and the Research community

Ambitions NHS Scotland will deliver world leading healthcare through close working with industry and research NHS Scotland will work in concert with others to make sure that Scotland PLC is competitive NHS Scotland will extend its role as a driver for growth in the life sciences and related health industries

Focus mobile computing (smart phone as a diagnostic tool/ body worn /in vitro monitoring) digital manufacturing (3d printing etc) robotics (surgery, dispensing, devices etc) artificial intelligence (anticipatory care, forecasting, informed decision making etc) networks & sensors (remote ECG, cloud enabled care etc) systems biology (regenerative medicine, genomics etc)
