Uniform Children are expected to wear uniform each day. This consists of a red sweatshirt and red polo shirt, both of which are worn either with grey or black trousers, skirts or pinafores and a black, grey or red hijab, if appropriate. Red and white dresses can also be worn in the summer. Children should wear safe, sensible black shoes to school at all times. Children should have wellington boots in school also – these are kept on the class welly rack. All clothing should be clearly labelled with your child’s name.

A drawstring PE bag – Your child will have their own peg & on their peg they will need to keep a PE bag. Inside their PE bag they should have black shorts (or joggers/leggings in winter), a white T shirt & a pair of black daps or trainers (no laces please). A bag of spare clothes.

A named water bottle – children need a water bottle in school every day. A book bag – this needs to be brought daily & kept in your child’s drawer. It will contain the children’s keywords to learn to read and write at home, their 2 reading books & a reading record book to be able to communicate between school and home.

Start and End of the day At the start of the day the classroom door will be open from 8.45am and you are able to bring and settle your child into school. Once they are settled, parents leave and we begin the school day. At the end of the day at 3.25pm the children wait on the carpet & the class teacher sees the children out to parents or carers individually. It is important that we know who a child is able to be collected by therefore please keep forms up to date, or inform us of any collection changes.
