10 Curriculum The children will follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum. A large emphasis is still placed on personal, social and emotional development, refining speaking and listening skills, and developing positive attitudes to learning, such as concentration and perseverance. There are parent consultation evenings in the Autumn and Spring terms and you will receive a report with the Early Years Profile judgements, towards the end of the Summer term.

11 Reading / Homework Every day your child should be doing something at home. This may be reading or phonic sheets and usually something maths based at the weekend. (Matific) Reading books will usually be changed twice a week. Homework is not compulsory, but it does make a difference to the child’s development if you can support their learning at home.
