The Amur Leopard By Jacob Marshall Bagley

Critically endangered There are less than 40 Amur leopards left in the wild. This leopard is one of the rarest big cats. The Amur tiger (the leopards cousin) was critically endangered 60-70 years ago but its numbers are increasing now. So we are hoping we can save the leopard.

Amur’s can run up to 37 mph this is 10 mph faster than Usain Bolt! What do they look like? Extinction This means that all animals of a certain species have died and there are no more of them left. The Amur leopard is on the red list of critically endangered animals meaning experts think there is an extremely high risk of extinction in the wild.

What if Amur Leopards Become Extinct? Bigger population of the Amur leopards prey. Bigger population of prey can destroy habitat by over feeding. We’ll lose a very beautiful animal forever!

What can we do to help? Adopt an Amur leopard - money goes to help protect them & their habitat Support charity that helps the Amur leopard Don’t buy clothes made of leopard fur
