1 Tigers

2 what is a tiger The tiger is the largest member of the felid (cat) family. They sport long, thick reddish coats with white bellies and white and black tails. Their heads, bodies, tails and limbs have narrow black, brown or gray stripes.

3 How many babies do they have
Tigers normally have 2-3 cubs in a litter and they have about 5 at the most

4 What do they eat Tigers mainly eat ambar deer, wild pigs, water buffalo and antelope. Tigers are also known to hunt sloth bears, dogs, leopards, crocodiles and pythons as well as monkeys and hares. Old and injured tigers have been known to attack humans and domestic cattle

5 how many stripes does a tiger have
Tigers have over 100 stripes. Of these, approximately 55 are black and the remainder are other colored. (orange, tan). A tigers stripes are as individual as human fingerprints and enable humans to identify each tiger by it's stripe pattern

6 How do they hunt Tigers usually hunt large prey. They will hunt wild pigs and deer, also small prey like monkeys and frogs. Hunting is hard work. A tiger may stalk 20 animals, before it finally catches one.

7 Where is there habitats
Historic tiger range ran from Turkey through South and Southeast Asia to the far eastern shores of the continent. Today, they are only found in South and Southeast Asia, China and the Russian Far East.

8 Can they swim Most mammals can swim, including lions, leopards and cheetahs. Being able to swim is quite different from being able to swim well though. Most of the big cats tend to avoid water as they are adapted to hunt on land. Tigers, on the other hand, live in lush tropical jungles with lots of wide rivers

9 How far can they go with out food
after periods of between 46 and 73 days without food

10 How they act Tigers use their body weight to knock prey to the ground and kills with a bite to the neck. They are also very good swimmers and have been known to kill prey while swimming. If a tiger see another car they would fight if they have not grow up with each other
