Animal Facts Description The Giant Panda has thick black and white fur, the fur will help it camouflage like the with fur will help it blend in with the snowy environment and the black fur will help them when in dark places to hide. Diet The giant panda is a herbivore because it eat 99% bamboo 1% other plants and meats. 4 Life Cycle The giant panda when born is a blind 5ounce pink newborn and grows fur at one week and it’s eyes open at three weeks and also begin to crawl. A picture of the animal as a baby or young. 5 Animal Interactions As cute and cuddly, as they look the giant pandas when there is no way to escape they will use their physical strength, and powerful jaws and teeth. Giant pandas like to live life alone and the only times they would be together is when mating and taking care of a cub, but when they do they use scent marking. Pic of animal adaptation that allows it to protect itself The giant panda would you use their strength or jaws to fight the snow leopard. The snow leopard will only go for a cub when it is away from it’s mom. A giant pandas predator is snow leopards but it’s only really going for the cub when it’s not by it’s mom. Did you know giant pandas can eat up to 40pounds a day and that 14,600 pounds a year! Soft bones! Did you know a young panda can take a fall a not get badly hurt.
