Before we can understand Holy we must understand sin

Introduction Gen 1:2-3 The earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters. (3) Then God said, "Let there be light"; and there was light.

Introduction 2Co 4:6 For God, who said, "Light shall shine out of darkness," is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.

Definition Sin is the fault and corruption of the nature of every man who is a natural off spring of Adam; whereby man is very far gone from original righteousness, and is of his own nature inclined to evil, so that flesh lusts always against the spirit; and therefore, in every person born into the world, it deserves God’s wrath and damnation – Articles of the Church of England

In the year of king Uzziah's death I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, lofty and exalted, with the train of His robe filling the temple.

Seraphim stood above Him, each having six wings: with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew.

And one called out to another and said, "Holy, Holy, Holy, is the LORD of hosts. The whole earth is full of His glory.

And the foundations of the thresholds trembled at the voice of him who called out, while the temple was filling with smoke.
