1 Growing in worship

2 We in the Vineyard have, from the very outset of our ministry, made worship our highest priority, believing that it is God’s desire that we become, first, worshippers of God. John Wimber

3 Worship is not about personality, temperament, personal limitations, church background, or comfort. It is about God.

4 Isaiah 6 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple. 2 Above him were seraphim, each with six wings: with two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying. 3 And they were calling to one another:

5 ‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty;     the whole earth is full of his glory.’
4 At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook and the temple was filled with smoke. 5 ‘Woe to me!’ I cried. ‘I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the Lord Almighty.’

6 6 Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar. 7 With it he touched my mouth and said, ‘See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.’ 8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?’ And I said, ‘Here am I. Send me!’

7 v1 I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple. v4 …the doorposts and thresholds shook and the temple was filled with smoke.

8 v5 ‘Woe to me. ’ I cried. ‘I am ruined
v5 ‘Woe to me!’ I cried. ‘I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the Lord Almighty.’

9 v7 …he touched my mouth and said, ‘See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.’

10 Hebrews 4:16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

11 Exodus 33: 15 ‘If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here.  How will anyone know that you are pleased with me and with your people unless you go with us? What else will distinguish me and your people from all the other people on the face of the earth?’

12 John 15: 5 If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

13 John 15: 5 If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

14 v8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send
v8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?’ And I said, ‘Here am I. Send me!’

15 Philippians 2: Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

16 The overflow of our hearts
