Structure of the school day The school day: 8.50amClassroom doors open 9.00 amSchool begins 11.45am KS1 Lunch KS2 Lunch 1.00pm Afternoon session begins 3.15 pm School ends

Daily Routines Children enter the classroom from their outdoor area. School day starts at 9am and doors open at 8.50am. Snack time Children can bring fruit to snack on Water Water bottle – clearly labelled Lunchtime Hot or cold meal options – banding system

Lunch Routine Menus can be found on the school website Packed lunches should be healthy (no sweets or chocolate) Staff will inform you if your child is not eating Please inform school of any allergies

Uniform The uniform is white polo shirt, navy or grey trousers, navy pinafore or skirt and a maroon cardigan or jumper. Black flat shoes. Jumpers, cardigans and coats can be purchased from school. Order forms are in the pack. PE kit is a white polo shirt, navy shorts and black sand shoes. No jewellery.

School Focus this year Focusing on technical writing in English and SPaG – spelling, punctuation and grammar. Improving Maths across all subjects Embedding the new curriculum with challenging lessons that engage all pupils.

Assessment Assessment system has changed. Levels have been replaced by curriculum content assessment. See assessing without levels section under parents column.
