POINT OF VIEW

Point of view is the perspective from which the story is told. ● First Person Point of View: – The narrator is a character in the story – and usespersonal pronouns throughout – like “I” or we”.

● Third Person Point of View: – An outsider is telling the story and is not directly – part of the action. – Third Person POV can be... ● Third Person Omniscient, where the narrator is ● all-knowing ● Third Person Limited, where the narrator's vision ● of what is happening is limited to the perspective ● or thoughts and feelings of one character. ● Third Person Objective, which is like the camera or reporter's view. In this POV no information is provided about the thoughts and feelings of the characters unless stated directly by the characters through dialogue.
