2 Point of View (descriptive)
Point of View is one of the devices for giving structure to a description. It permits the writer to introduce his details according to some order.

3 Two Classification Physical Point of View is an actual spot from which the described object is observed. Mental Point of View refers to the attitude of the writer toward the object or scene.

6 Scale Scale is when the writer of description presents his details in a certain scale.

7 Dominant Impression Is in which the description given describes the object in a way that a single aspect or characteristics will dominate the impression.

9 Narration Narration is the form of discourse that tells a story with events in a series or it gives an account of an event from one point of view.

10  First Person Narration is when the narrator uses “I” in his/her storytelling.
Third Person Narration is any story told in the grammatical third person, i.e. without using "I" or "we".

11 Point of View (Narrative)
Point of View determines what type of perspective the story is viewed.

12 Omniscient POV is a method of storytelling in which the narrator knows the thoughts and feelings of all of the characters in the story. Limited POV is a method of storytelling in which the narrator knows only the thoughts and feelings of a single character, while other characters are presented only externally.

14 Autobiographical and Biographical Writing
Autobiography is an account of person’s life, written by that person. Biography is an account of someone’s life written by someone else.

15 The Anecdote The Anecdote is a short narrative usually told for the purpose of bringing out some interesting or odd characteristic of a person or place.

16 The Incident The Incident has the same self-contained character , but its interest depends upon the unusual, vivid, or illuminating character of the action itself.

17 The Sketch is usually a study character, setting or mood.

18 The Profile The Profile is a form of writing that shows the chief features of the person being described in character interpretation.
