The narrator simply tells the reader what is going on the story. The narrator does not know or reveal any thoughts and feelings of any characters.

7. Third Person Limited
The narrator knows the thoughts and feelings of only one character in the story. The story is told from the narrator’s perspective, but is focused through that one character’s thoughts and feelings.

8. Third Person Omniscient
The narrator is all knowing. The narrator knows the thoughts and feelings of every character. This narrator is most trustworthy.
