Corporate Furniture Our focus has been to develop our Furniture Division in such a manner that our efforts help build and sustain the local Office Furniture Manufacturing sector. Our vision is to partner with our local manufacturers, provide real investment while helping to build the local economy.

Weak Dollar = Strong Import Market Threat to our local manufacturing sector from cheap Asian imports. Threat further intensified by a consumer market driven by price alone. Forces that impact upon our Local Manufacturing Sector Furniture dealers have choice between local manufacturers and imports, but forced into import market because of price.

The threat of Imports to our Local Manufacturing Sector Serious threat to local manufacturing sustainability that results in closures and job losses. Dealers have no control over quality and cannot address quality issues with the manufacturers themselves. Cannot manufacture custom furniture or guarantee the continuity of ranges.

Furniture Manufacturing Sector Under Pressure 19 Furniture Manufacturing Companies forced to close down in last Two Years Employees under threat of Job Losses. Need to ensure the sustainability of the Office Furniture Manufacturing sector.

Thank You
