BHS PHYSICAL EDUCATION

 STUDENTS WILL BOWL EVERY TUESDAY AND THURSDAY UNLESS SCHOOL IS CANCELLED OR THERE IS A 2 HOUR DELAY.  MEET IN THE ATHLETIC LOBBY BY YOUR TEACHER FOR ATTENDANCE.  IF YOU ARE LATE, REPORT TO STUDY HALL. (0 for day) THE BUS WILL LEAVE PROMPTLY AT THE BELL!

 IF YOU MISS THE BUS, YOU CAN NOT WALK OR DRIVE TO BOWLING ALLEY.  IF YOU HAVE AN EARLY DISMISSAL DURING OUR CLASS TIME, YOU MUST TELL YOUR TEACHER THEN REPORT TO STUDY HALL.

 NO BOOK BAGS OR OUTSIDE FOOD/ DRINKS ARE ALLOWED ON BOWLING ALLEY PROPERTY OR THE BUS. (put your book bags in your locker or in the locker room)

 BOWLING SHOES ARE LOCATED AT THE FRONT DESK.  GIRLS SIZES ARE RED AND BOYS ARE BLACK

 WHEN BOWLING IS OVER RETURN YOUR SHOES TO THE FRONT DESK WHERE YOU GOT THEM.

 YOU MUST WEAR BOWLING SHOES WHEN YOU ARE ON THE APPROACH. NO STREET SHOES ARE ALLOWED AT ANY TIME.  BE SURE TO CHANGE WET SHOES ON THE CARPET.

 YOU MUST ENTER YOUR FIRST AND LAST NAME INTO THE COMPUTER.  THE USE OF BUMPERS IS PROHIBITED!

 DO NOT RUSH THE RACK. BOWL ONLY WHEN IT IS IN THE UP POSITION.  NOTIFY YOUR TEACHER IF YOU HIT THE RACK.

 IF SOMEONE GETS A STRIKE OR SPARE IN THE 10 TH FRAME, THEY GET A THIRD ROLL.  A STOP SIGN WILL APPEAR ON THE SCREEN TO LET YOU KNOW IT WILL RESET. WAIT UNTIL THE RACK IS UP!!!  THIS IS WHEN MOST RACK STRIKES OCCUR

 DO NOT PITCH THE BALL DOWN THE LANE; ROLL IT.

 YOU ARE ALLOWED TO USE THE SNACK MACHINES.  THE CAFÉ IS OFF LIMITS.  CLEAN UP YOUR AREA BEFORE YOU LEAVE.

 RETURN YOUR BALL TO THE BALL RACK WHEN FINISHED.  DO NOT USE THE FOOTREST FOR BALL STORAGE!

 ALL SCHOOL RULES APPLY WHILE AT THE BOWLING ALLEY.  ALL SCHOOL AND BUS RULES APPLY WHILE ON THE BUS.

 RULE INFRACTIONS WILL CAUSE YOU TO LOSE BOWLING PRIVILEGES.  A RACK STRIKE RESULTS IN A SUSPENSION FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE PERIOD AND THE NEXT BOWLING SESSION.  A TOTAL OF 2 RACK STRIKES RESULTS IN BOWLING SUSPENSION FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE YEAR.

 THEFT OF BEAVER VU PROPERTY WILL RESULT IN LOSS OF BOWLING PRIVILEGES AND PROSECUTION BY LAW ENFORCEMENT.

 YOUR SESSION IS OVER WHEN YOU HEAR THE WHISTLE. AT THIS TIME ALL MACHINES WILL BE TURNED OFF.  DO NOT ROLL A BALL AFTER THE WHISTLE BLOWS!!!

 YOU MAY ONLY USE ONE HOUSE BALL PER SESSION  TABLES ARE NOT TO BE USED AS SEATS!  EVERY THING YOU DO AT THE BOWLING ALLEY IS VIDEO RECORDED

 IF YOU NEED HELP WITH YOUR LANE, PRESS THE SERVICE BUTTON (INTERCOM)

 MAKE SURE THERE IS ONLY ONE LIGHT LIT UP AT THE END OF YOUR LANE!  IF THERE ARE TWO LIT, YOU NEED TO HIT RESET!

 THE COMPLETED CONTRACT IS REQUIRED BEFORE YOU MAY BOWL AT BEAVER VU BOWLING CENTER.  SIGN THE CONTRACT AND TURN IT IN TO YOUR TEACHER!
