You have the 1st 5 minutes to get your supplies situated, homework out, and begin on warmup Check the homework board for any assignments and write in planner

3 Entering Class Look at the table to the right when you walk in
If there are any papers to pick up for the day they will be there This is also the table where you turn in classwork, homework, tests, etc.

I will raise my hand and count to 5 If by 5 everybody’s hand is not in the air with voices off, the class stays 30 seconds after

5 Passing papers in/out Pass homework towards the front of the classroom
The person at the front of the classroom checks to ensure all names are on the papers and stacks them facing the same direction The aide will collect the papers Check your period’s box. If there are papers in it, they need to be passed out.

6 Using Class Supplies You are welcome to use the supply area at the front of the room during the 1st 5 minutes of class If you want to borrow a pencil/pen for the class you must hang your lanyard If you need to use a tissue, you may do so at any time, please be considerate of others and do so as quickly and quietly as possible

9 Grading Make Up/Late Work
If the class has already graded an activity you turn in, you are expected to attend the next tutoring session to grade that assignment.

10 Restroom/Locker Pass If you need to use the restroom, wait until after the instructional time unless it is an emergency Take the Orange Hall Pass Go and come back as quickly as possible You have (4) Restroom Passes for this semester. The incentive is to not use them, for they can be bonus points on the end-of-the-semester final exam.

11 Leaving Class No one will leave the room until you are dismissed by a teacher, not the bell. You will not be dismissed until all books are put back on the shelf, and everyone is in their seat If you are tardy to your next class, it is your responsibility unless you are given a note from this class.
