Volleyball Volleyball is a net sport that is played in teams of 6 players. Volleyball is a net sport that is played in teams of 6 players. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organised rules. Equipment

Court For men and mixed teams, the height of the net is 7 foot 11 ½ inches, and for women is 7 foot 4 inches.
