Student Achievement Data Mount Olive Township Public Schools

The Mount Olive schools use the STAR 360 exam to measure English/Language Arts and Math academic gains for students in grades The assessments are designed to identify areas of accomplishment in each students by systematically increasing the difficulty of questions asked for each question a student answers correctly. For each wrong answer, the assessment system adjusts question difficulty a bit lower. The pattern of correct responses are then compared to all others responding to the same examinations nationwide to compute a percentile ranking. The assessment protocol is administered three times throughout the school year; once near the beginning in the year (in early October); once in the middle of the year (January) and once at the end of the year (early June). The Fall results for the STAR 360 follow.
