Ben Franklin About Benjamin Franklin. Benjamin Franklin was an inventor, writer, musician, printer, cartoonist, and a world traveler with many jobs. Such as a shopkeeper, a soldier, a newspaper owner, a politician, and a mailman. He mad e a lot of things to make peoples life easer so he made the bifocals, almanac; he helped build a hospital, a free academy and a fire department. Ben also made an armonica.

Ben Franklin and the lighting rod First you put the lighting rod above your house. So it will hit the lighting rod before it can get to your house. Then you can prevent a fire. Then it will go down to the ground or water level. he made these in This is how the lighting rod works.

Ben Franklin and the glass armonica The Armonica instrument is played by rubbing glass or crystal goblets or bowls. It is usually tuned with water.

Ben Franklin and bifocal glasses The bifocals had two different sides. It was designed with the most convex lenses (for close viewing) in the lower half of the frame and the least convex lenses on the upper. Two separate lenses were cut in half and combined together in the rim of the frame
