2 Facts Ben Franklin is one of the well known and the love founders of the United States of America He signed the Declaration of Independence, and he also signed the treaty of Paris which ended the Revolutionary war Ben was a publisher, scientist, inventor, and diplomat Ben was an inventor he invented a lot of stuff such as bifocals, lightening rod, glass armonica, Franklin Stove Bens birthday is Jan. 17, 1706 but his real birthday is Jan. 6, 1706 As a young man in his twenties, Ben Franklin was elected clerk of the Pennsylvania Assembly, and he used his printing company to print their laws and other business. Benjamin was the founding father of the United States of America

3 Benjamin Franklin was born on Milk Street in London, his father was a leather Apron Man he selled soaps and candles soon or later Ben would be a priest. Ben has 9 brothers, and sisters, and 7 half brothers,and sisters. Ben had to sign a paper saying that he had to be an apprentice until he was 21 years old he worked his brother James Franklin. Ben was an expert on swimming he once read about this book about swimming it had some tricks, and strokes that taught Ben to do fantastic stuff. Ben also wanted to be more better at arithmetic, Ben was so into arithmetic he made up a game called magic squares each row of numbers would add up to 260. When Ben was 17 years old he ran away and landed in Philadelphia there he met his first wife Deborah Read. They got married in 1730 Ben now owned his own print shop Ben, and Deborah owned a shop on top of their house Benjamin also started up a fire department called the Union Fire Company. He also find a college named the University of Pennsylvania in 1732 when he 26 years old he wrote his own book called the Poor Richard Almanack. That day Bens son was born on October 20th 1732, he died on November 21st, 1736 with the chicken Pox. He also built the Franklin Stove, lightening rod, simple odometer, and the glass armonica. Benjamin Franklin had an idea of flying a kite which had a key on the kite he was just trying to show the colonists that lightening is the same thing as electricity. One day Ben was trying to perform a electrical picnic he was going to plan to kill a turkey with a container connected to a electrical circuits. Ben's daughter was born on September 11 1743. Benjamin signed the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. Ben died on April 17, 1790 when he 84 years old he had the biggest idea of his time- the idea of an Independent United States.

4 Bens Trip to France Ben Franklins Job Ben was a apprentice when he was 12 years old he had to sign a paper saying he had to work for his brother (James) until he was 21 years old. James treated Ben as strictly as the other apprentices. One day Ben was reading a book about different kinds of strokes in swimming, and different tricks. He had an idea of laying back in the lake while he held a kite letting the kite float him across the lake. He also made up a game called the magic squares where each row with numbers in each box has to add up to 260. Ben ran away from Boston because he did not want to work for James, and he did not like working for him.. He ran away to Philadelphia there he met Deborah Read they got married, and had 3 kids William, Sara, and Francis who died because of chicken
