2. What is Electricity?
Electricity is a type of power that runs through your home and school.
It was discovered by Benjamin Franklin.

3. Types of Electricity
Static electricity: static electricity is when you rub two things together and one of the things that would happen is your hair would go up.
Current electricity: current electricity is electric that flows and they call it current, and they also call it electric because it is a rate of it
Solar electricity: is something that converts sunlight and goes straight into electricity.

4. How does it travel?
They are powered by power lines and the lines on your street or by your house go into your house and power everything. It first starts out in substation, and then transformation, and finally into your home.

5. The Metre
Electricity is measured by 3 things, watts, volts and amps. Volt is the pressure which electricity flows.
Amps is the amount of the electric current which helps it move places.
Watts is to honor the inventor and the amount of work done by a certain amount of pressure and current.

6. Potential Dangers Having a hair dryer on while water is running.
An electrical cord plugged in and the cord is broken.
Too many cords plugged into one outlet.
Having two broken wires touch each other.
Having too many electrical things on at a time.
You can avoid danger by not playing with wires in your home.
Rubbing two wires together
If you have a control box, don’t play with it because it could electrocute yourself and ruin something important.

7. Making your house safe
By making sure your house safe is by not flipping lights on and off, and don’t have much things on at a time. Do not play with wires unless their safe wires.
