Cooling Chilled water evaporative cooling system 3 * 650KW Hybrid Cooling Towers (N+1 configuration) Additional 500KW unit to be relocated from Mill Lane 8 * CRAH units in First floor Halls 2 and 3 (N+2 configuration) Hot aisle containment in First floor Halls Back of Rack Coolers (Usystems, Coldlogik) on Ground Floor (Hall 1)

Data Halls Hall 1 (High Density) on Ground Floor (HPCS) up to 900KW Hall 2 for Cambridge Assessment 210KW Hall 3 for UIS 240KW Further 40 Cabinet Hall on First Floor (not fitted out for Day 1) All Data and Power services provided overhead No raised floor

Communication Rooms 2 * Point of Presence rooms for incoming Comms 1 situated on the Ground Floor North Elevation Second room is on the First Floor South Elevation. Incoming Comms routed separately to each POP.

Electrical Performance Facility Power draw 85% of incoming supply Operational performance of total facility designed at PUE of 1.35 or better (target is PUE 1.2) on full IT load. PUE circa 1.5 on partial IT Load.

Fire Detection & Suppression Data Halls protected by double knock HSSD fire detection (Laser based system) FM200 Gas suppression used for all Data Halls (Dedicated Bottle storage room on First Floor)

Security Perimeter fence with access gate and road blocker (controlled via card and/or Security Guard) CCTV - internal, external and perimeter. Perimeter Cameras on 5m poles with anti vandal measures. Also provide perimeter detection. Circle lock anti tailgate door at main entry point All restricted areas controlled via swipe access card 24 * 7 Manned Security presence All Data Hall Cabinets individually locked (Trakka System for key release)

Data Centre Operations Team of approx. 5 (3 Data Hall Operations, 2 Critical Facility Engineers) Provision of Environmental monitoring & control Cabinet and Cable Management Administer Data Centre Tools (BMS, DCiM, ENMS, Access Control, CCTV) Asset Tracking Manage all deliveries/disposals Site Access Management/approvals Space planning and Management Information production Maintain Plant Facility (all LV electrical and all mechanical plant)
