Your Call Why do we need a new resource? Who is the target audience? What do we want to achieve? Where are we in the development process? When will it arrive?

Why? Our target audience is year old (S1- S3), the age range statistically most at risk on our roads Current resource needs to be updated and brought in line with a Curriculum for Excellence

…there is a teenager. feels invincible has ‘done’ road safety unaware of risk peer pressure too cool

…and a teacher needs to deliver curriculum timetable pressures lacks up to date resources little preparation time lacks own teaching space

What do we want to achieve? Progression Real & Relevant Choice & Flexibility Challenging & Engaging

What we want to achieve 1.PROGRESSION Build on work that has already been covered at primary 2.REAL & RELEVANT meaningful for this age group up to date

What’s the ultimate aim To produce a resource that; Challenges young people’s views and ideas allowing them to reflect on life experiences.
