Your hobbies, interests, and habits often depend on the climate you are used to and the people and places you encounter every day. If you were to move away from everything you know, how much of who you are would change? How much would stay the same? JOURNAL ENTRY IT’S A MARVELOUS MONDAY! JOURNAL ENTRY CAN WHERE YOU ARE CHANGE WHO YOU ARE? WHY OR WHY NOT?

 In “Dark They Were, and Golden-Eyed” by Ray Bradbury, we will be looking closely at the mood the author creates.  You will also see that Bradbury’s diction affects the mood of the story  Words to consider  Words to consider :  Convivial  Dwindle  Flimsy  Forlorn  Muse  Pendulum  Recede  Subtly VOCABULARY IN CONTEXT Can you match each of these with a word I’ve asked you to consider? 1.Friendly 2.Indirectly 3.Hanging weight 4.Decrease 5.Become distant 6.Daydream 7.Lonely 8.breakable
