Who Is Mrs. Barber? I graduated high school from Hebbronville High School in Hebbronville, TX After high school, I went to Texas A&M I received a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology I am certified to teach grades 6-12 in Science and have taught all grade levels I have taught Science here at Kirby for 3 years, but I have been a teacher for 17 years I have also lived in FL and Okinawa, Japan

1. BE ON TIME!!!!!!!!!! Being late hurts you because you lose time completing your starter and it interrupts the class.

2. Restrooms are to be used during passing periods and are not an excuse for being late. No one is allowed to go the restroom the first 10 min and last 10 min of class. You will be issued 6 restroom passes per semester. At the end of the semester, if you have not used it, you will receive a reward.

Class Procedures 3. I will greet you at the door. If I am not there, please line up against wall near class and wait quietly for me to allow you to enter the room. Do not enter class if I am not outside the door.

Class Procedures 4. Make sure that you have all the materials you need for class BEFORE you sit down. Ex. Journal, sharpened pencils, paper

Class Procedures 5. Once you have gotten your materials, open journal and set it up, then begin starter. You will 10 minutes to get your journal set up and starter completed. At the end of this time, I will come around and check.
