NOT ALL INSURANCE PLANS ARE THE SAME! Deductible – You have to pay this amount before your insurance will cover anything $100 - $1,000 or even $5,000 are common deductible amounts $15,000 is TOO HIGH! Co-Pay/ Co-Insurance – you will pay this amount for each billed service and insurance will cover the rest (if deductible is met). Network – you may have to go to specific providers in your plan’s contracted network. *UHP has $0 deductible and $0 copay for all services at SHC and many others within the SLUCare network.
