Our project for this month is the SPARCC/animal-food donation. Anyone who has brought in donations (a bag of old clothes, jewelry, books, etc OR or a good-sized bag of dog or cat food) will receive 5 hours of community service. If you have done both, you get an extra 2 hours. GAME RULES! – You will need to split into groups of 5. – There must be at least 2 people you don’t know in your group. – Group name will be drawn from the bag. – Put all clothes from your group into a pile. – One person will be dressed up in clothes that match the category we are doing. – You have two minutes to dress your person in as many clothes as you can. – The dressed person cannot go into the pile. – Everything must be on the person – nothing can be falling off. – You get bonus points if the dressed person can name everyone in their group. SPARCC / Animal Food Donations!

Homecoming!! Ms. Dweck has asked all clubs to construct a float for the homecoming football game. Due to time constraints, we feel that we cannot pull one off. So, we have volunteered as a club to help in another way! We are going to decorate the school on the Thursday before the homecoming game (October 8 th ). We can make additional posters, hang balloons from hallways… whatever we want. Our job is to make the school look ready to celebrate the football game and the dance! We are flexible and can offer shifts to those who cannot make a certain time!

In order for you to be more involved with the club and see the “behind the scenes”, we are asking that some of you members to join us at the LSSC officer meetings! They are held on the Tuesday that we don’t have regular meetings. Please come talk to one of us if you would like you to join us! Thank you!

NEXT MEETING: October 6 th See you there!!
