3 Meeting Days / Times / Places Open up calendar on gmail account and put in the current events going on Days: Times: Places: Label all we say on the calendar! Then save. Label all the events on the paper calendar as well.

4 Meeting Breakdown Weekly Meetings Meet with group leaders, complete assignments, check and monitor progress of organization, come up with new ideas, work on a total budget, decide whether fundraising should happen or not, send out mail and meet donators, make t-shirts, pins, mugs, etc. Fundraising Meetings Meet group leaders, decide on ways to fundraise, complete ws’, decide when/where/how/what/how much $, and basics of fundraising Workshop Meetings Meet group leaders, meet whole groups, have workshops on how to present, meet with people, what the aim of our group is, how to run it, how to fundraise, how to make a website / newsletters, etc.

5 Meeting Breakdown Journalists Club Meetings Decide on who to have as director, editor, chief of staff for the group, find places to get book published, gather different forms of art and literature that people will submit, put posters to encourage people to submit art/literature form of work, use graphic designing to design book, fundraise money for getting books published, etc. Tech Support Meetings Decide on how to make websites, social media accounts, materials needed, advertise, fundraise, send emails to subscribers, answer questions people would have regarding access to website, etc. Social Activities Club Meetings (Wayfarers) Decide on ways to fundraise money by holding movie nights, or decide on where to go to as an incentive for team leaders, team members, whole organization, etc. Volunteering Meetings Decide on who to nominate, how to persuade people to join, who will be head adult to ask help from, budget, supplies, incentives, hold interviews for subscribers etc.

6 Breakdown of Group Direct & Managers Work/Meet with all group leaders, work on a total budget, come up with new ideas, make t-shirts, pins, mugs, send out mails and meet donators, hold most of the events The Volunteers Organize group volunteer programs, go to parks, soup kitchens, tutor, help kids, get all official paperwork and documentation in, advertise, and fundraise $ for equipment's The Seed Planters Group of young Muslim females interested in art and writing, make/collect poetry, art, literature on Islam, public Eco Muslims Journal, fundraise The Tech Support Make website, send out emails to subscribers, social media accounts, use graphics to help fundraise, make posters The Wayfarers (Travelers) Make/distribute pamphlets, give goodies, hold charitable events, give/collect surveys, polls, RSVPS, hold social activities for group

Place in folder. Notebook Breakdown: Written Assignments Important Notes My Ideas Folder Breakdown: Side 1: Assignments, documents, paperwork Side 2: Calendar(s), Records, Agreements

8 Rules and Policies Do’s Dont’s Attend each meeting required (unless excused) Complete all assignments / send an email to me by a day before next meeting If absent, call/email/g-chat/meet me for update, and STILL complete all assignments (unless excused) Be dressed appropriately Participate in all meetings and discussions – share your view and feelings! Bring positive attitude, respect, and enthusiasm to help motivate others even if you are not Represent your people and your school well Be absent (unless excused) Forget assignments or be careless I am not grading your work, but by seeing you do it proves to me that you are interested in contributing back to society Be quiet when discussions go on Be rude or mean to others Be late to meetings – no one will explain it over to you again! Forget to email or tell me that you can’t make it the next meeting day if you have something to do Misbehave
