[Business/Concept Name] [Presenter, Key Personnel] ***Remember as you draft your slides that there is a hard 12 minute stop on your presentation***

[Product/Concept] [“Elevator pitch” or summary of product. Provide enough information so that potential investors know what it is, but you may want to hold back some “black box” critical features, especially if your patents have not issued or you are otherwise uncertain about the status of your intellectual property protection.]

[Total Market] [What is the size, in terms of gross annual sales, of the total market opportunity, fully- loaded? That is, if your product were to establish a new market, or take over an existing market, and you achieved 100% of the annual sales in that market, what would the gross annual sales be in USD?]

[Value Proposition] [Who/what is your competition? How is your product different from existing products, or what opportunities does your product present that aren’t available with current technology?]

[Intellectual Property] [Describe the status of your IP. Have you filed for a patent in the U.S., PCT, or outside of the U.S.? Is it a method patent, composition of matter, or both? Provisional or non- provisional? Has any patent been issued? Have you done a freedom-to-operate study, to research whether your technology infringes on existing patents? Who did that? Are there any claims to the title of your IP, i.e., university, hospital?]

[Regulatory Approval] [What do you anticipate the FDA approval pathway to be for your product? 510k? PMA? Outside of U.S. only? Map out the pre-clinical and clinical testing that you anticipate]

[Company Stage] [Describe when your company was founded, what work has been done so far, and how much capital has been raised and is remaining. If there are employees, what is the monthly burn rate of the business? Are there any sales?

[Business Management Team] [Who are the business professionals involved who have experience and ability to manage the business? Or what are your plans to engage them? What percent effort can they commit to? Are you going to quit your day job, put some percent effort into the business, or serve as a consultant?]

[Business Model] [How do you see your business evolving? Will you license your IP after validation? Will you seek strategic partnership for distribution and/or acquisition of your company? Will you build a full-service company with manufacturing, sales, marketing? Etc.]

[Investment Sought] [Present your “deal”—how much money are you seeking to raise at this time, what is your pre-money valuation? Those will give investors an idea of how much equity in your company they will receive for their investment.]

[Contact Information] [Insert your contact information so that audience members know how to contact you for questions or to pursue an investment in your business]
