Croydon Anyone can report concerns – it does not need to be a professional – there is an online portal via the council website Dr Barretto & Partners PPG Meeting 19/03/16

 As a surgery:  We use ‘practitioners space ‘  On line referral form for concerns.  MASH – multiagency safeguarding hub for advice  Direct calls to lead safeguarding doctor or nurse for urgent advice Dr Barretto & Partners PPG Meeting 19/03/16

 Every room has a laminated dated copy of the guidelines and copies of telephone numbers  We have clinical meetings weekly and discuss cases of concern  We have had annual case reviews within the surgery with all the staff – receptionists, nurses and doctors Dr Barretto & Partners PPG Meeting 19/03/16

Some areas of concern locally:  FGM – new mandatory reporting  Looked after children – including children who arrive in the UK unaccompanied  Fabricated illness  Exploitation and grooming  Cross border issues  Mother and baby assessment unit  Domestic violence Dr Barretto & Partners PPG Meeting 19/03/16
