What are drugs? Drugs- any chemical substances, that when enter the body, alter the functioning of the body Drugs- any chemical substances, that when enter the body, alter the functioning of the body * can prescription, illegal, household products etc. Psychoactive drug- any drug that alters sensory perceptions, moods, thought processes or behavior Psychoactive drug- any drug that alters sensory perceptions, moods, thought processes or behavior

“Good Drugs vs. “Bad Drugs” Good drugs- drugs that can help a person Good drugs- drugs that can help a person -prescription drugs, over the counter, pain killers etc. Bad drugs- drugs that can harm/hurt a person Bad drugs- drugs that can harm/hurt a person -illegal-marijuana, heroin, cocaine, ecstasy etc. How can good drugs turn into bad drugs?

Health Risks of Drug Use Physical Health- once drug enters bloodstream, can harm person’s vital organs.
