Teacher should minimize the use of ‘talk and chalk method’ in English Language Classroom. Instead teacher must be creative by in cooperating various type of media in classroom as a source of listening input to English Language.

FEATURES & ITS IMPLICATION FEATURES OF SUCCESSFUL ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNERS PEDAGOGICAL IMPLICATION Feature 2 Successful language learners are actively involved in the learning process by constantly practice to be more fluent and comfortable with the sound in English language Strategies for Improving Speaking  The English Language Classroom should not be teacher’s centered.  Teacher has to provide opportunities for students to practice the language in group activities.  Use more oral interaction activities like role playing.

Strategies for Improving Speaking Teacher should always provide opportunities for language learners to communicate in English such as having a small group discussion on a certain topic. This is to ensure that everybody could get the opportunities to be involved in the conversation.

Strategies for Improving Reading Teacher has to encourage the language learners to read English materials for pleasure. This is because normally an average or weak language learners only read educational materials for the sake of passing the examination.

As successful language leaners are good in making intelligent guesses, teacher should make use of language games in language classroom where students will enjoy the lesson and be able to make intelligent guesses.

They are always looking for clues that will help them understand how the language works.  Teacher should provide meaningful and challenging task to language learners.  The feature of being a good detective reveals that they prefer discovery learning rather teacher provide them with all the information.

FEATURES & ITS IMPLICATION FEATURES OF SUCCESSFUL ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNERS PEDAGOGICAL IMPLICATION Feature 12 Successful language learners attend to meaning, not just to surface or structure of grammar Strategies for Improving Grammar. Teacher should use implicit method in teaching grammar item by exposing the language learners with grammatical structure in context/through examples and let the students making their own generalization on the grammar rules. They can remember and use the grammar rules they discovered on their own correctly rather than the teacher explicitly explain the structure of grammar through formulas or diagrams.

FEATURES & ITS IMPLICATION FEATURES OF SUCCESSFUL ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNERS PEDAGOGICAL IMPLICATION Feature 13 Successful language learners are highly motivated to improve their English proficiency in terms of grammar because they make errors work for them Strategies for Improving Grammar and Writing  Teacher must be very particular in underlining their students errors in essay especially grammar mistakes. This is because successful English language learners analyze their mistakes and try to correct it on their own.  Teacher has to avoid correcting the students errors because students will become demotivated to acquire the grammar knowledge.
