OCAC is implementing this project through OeSL for 44 ULBs in the first phase out of 103 ULBs. This solution is being developed and managed by Tata Consultancy Services from State Data Center and support center located at OCAC, Bhubaneswar. The objectives of the current project, ‘Odisha Urban Local Bodies Automation System‘ is to introduce e-Governance in Urban Local Bodies of Odisha in order to comply with the JNNURM reforms. Odisha consists of 103 urban local bodies, categorized as Municipal corporations, Municipalities and Notified Area Councils and in the current initiative, 44 urban local bodies are being addressed. Govt. of Odisha, H&UD Department has proposed to implement the e-Municipality Project under National e-Governance Plan (NeGP). OCAC is implementing this project through OeSL for 44 ULBs in the first phase out of 103 ULBs. Project e-Municipality – Achievements  Digitally signed and Barcoded Birth and Death Certificates being issued to citizens at Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation and Cuttack Municipal Corporation.  SMS and facility to the citizens.  Public Service Delivery Timelines being monitored on e-Municipality Dashboard.  More than 4,63,500 Birth and Death events registered and 95,000 certificates issued to the citizens till date.  More than 265 Private and Government Health Institutions directly doing online registrations and till date 1,94,249 Birth and Death Event Registrations done by them.  More than 15,000 Trade Licenses issued on e-Municipality  Daily job cards being issued on e-Municipality for collection of solid waste by the ULBs. 8,721 job cards issued till date on e-Municipality.  Holding Tax, Grievance management and Welfare scheme beneficiary management and disbursement has been started in most ULBs.  Double entry Accounting Module usage in Bhubaneswar is in progress in full phase. Training imparted to Municipality officials on double entry accounting on e-Municipality.  No of accounting transactions on e-Municipality are Accounting entry currently being done at BMC, CMC, Talcher Municipality, Khurda Municipality, Angul Municipality, Dhenkanal Municipality, Jagatsingpur Municipalality, Bolangir Municipality, Bhawanipatna Municipality, Paradeep Municipality.
