25 Accident and incident investigation Accident investigation is carried out by an investigator-in-charge, who is appointed by the Minister of Transport and as Independent Authority directly reports to him as defined by the Article 67 of the Law on Aviation Aviation Law Regulations on Accident Investigation Investigator-in-charge at the Ministry of Transport Accident investigation is performed in compliance with the Regulations on Accident Investigation, produced on the basis of the requirements of ICAO Annex 13

26 Audits Audits of ICAO, European Commission and EASA were carried out in the fields of personnel licensing and aviation medicine, flight operations, aerodrome, air navigation, aircraft production and maintenece, aviation security supervision The conclusions of auditors confirm that the level achieved by Lithuiania in flight safety and aviation security supervision corresponds to the international standards and common European context
