Enneagram Personality Test Who are you?

THE ENNEAGRAM

Background information  Ancient Middle Eastern Test  There are nine personality types  Each type relates to other types  Starts with the belief you were born whole  Something happened and you have strategies on how to cope.

Things to Consider  Choose your type before 22 years old  Pick who you are not who you want to be  Can ask friends if you are uncertain

Moving around  Each personality type plays with other types.  You have arrows  You have wings

Arrows  Arrows are numbers you go to when either stressed or relaxed.  You take on their good traits or bad traits

Wings  Wings are like hands, you have two hands but you can favor one.  You take on traits of the personality type on either side of you on the wheel.  Like hands you favor one.

The Ennegagram

Other considerations  Get out a sheet of paper and take notes  There are many names for each number  Always refer to the number.  Look over all types before choosing

The Three Centers  Heart- Appearance  Head- Knowledge and fear  Gut- Anger and peace

HEART CENTER Appearance  Twos- Want appearance to be your best friend  Threes- Want appearance to be the best.  Fours- Want appearance to be unique and individual

Twos  TWOS- HELPER  Want to be your friend and often put friends needs ahead of their own.  House- lots of seating- the place to be

Threes  Threes- ACHIEVER  Like to do things.  Have a to do list and will get satisfaction on completing the list quickly  House- Has everything they need to achieve- Usually focuses on their own room

Fours  Fours- ROMANTICS  Need to be an individual and unique.  Likes the drama of the day  House- Usually drawn doll house style or written with many adjectives. Decorates things (flames on candles on table, pictures on walls)

HEAD CENTER Knowledge and Fear  Fives- Seek safety in knowing things. Usually reading. Often likes other worlds  Sixes- Seeks safety in approval from authority  Sevens- Fear being afraid and will try many things to prove things are fine.

Fives  Fives- Obsevers  Likes alone time and places to people watch.  Seeks knowledge in books  House- Focuses on own room, library, and windows

Sixes  Sixes-QUESTIONER  Generally worried. Asks “What if? What do you think? Is that?”  Knows authority and seeks approval  Extremely competent- just insecure  House- Traditional house, no pool, no spiral stairs, nothing that would kill.

COUNTER PHOBIC SIX  There are people who are counter phobic. They acknowledge authority and usually give up and cause a ruckus.  They have the same fears but aggressively fail to avoid failure anyway.

Sevens  Sevens-Adventurers  Happy go lucky and view the world as a rosy place to live.  Have very big ideas and grand stories  Know a lot about everything and master of none.  House- Out of this world! Slides, moving garages, jungle room (no bedrooms or bathrooms)

GUT CENTER Anger and Peace  Eights- like anger and are not afraid to express it.  Nines- like to calm anger and conflict  Ones- Avoid anger and feel it is a character flaw.

Eights  Eights- ASSERTERS  Very territorial. Is your best friend.  Showing anger is not a problem.  Houses range from all designs, but things are usually fair and evenly spaced.

Nines  Nines- PEACEMAKERS  Hardest to identify as they will be who you need them to be.  Like to solve conflicts (if no conflicts are around they will stir it up)  How you ask them to do stuff is extremely important.  House- Very challenging to tell

ONES  Ones- PERFECTIONISTS  Like things in order.  Like things neat and find peace in order.  Anger is a character flaw.  House- Right angles, closet space, drafted. (WATCH FOR PAPER TEARS)
