Fall 2016 Updates We expect to have higher overall GPA requirements than Fall 2015 (because of last year’s add funding) and utilize a waitlist. For this cycle, highly impacted majors are not being categorized out. Conditional Exemptions Students that are EAP, SAT or ACT Conditional in English or Math are exempt from ESP if they meet their conditions by taking and successfully completing a higher level course (Math and/or English) their senior year.  Math courses with Alg 2 as prerequisite: Calculus, Trig, etc.  AP English, ERWC  If the student does not meet their condition, such as not taking the correct course their senior year, not taking it both semesters or not passing, they…  Are not required to take the ELM/EPT, but are HIGHLY recommended they take the test(s) in order to test out of ESP and remediation  If they do not take or don’t pass the ELM/EPT, they are required to start their remediation in Summer through ESP.  This year, we are coding students (conditional or as not exempt) early to inform them of next steps.
