9. EARLY START PROGRAM (ESP) Students must begin their remediation the summer before their fall enrollment at a CSU through ESP. Initial determination of expected participation in ESP will be done via SAT/ACT or EAP scores. ELM/EPT, if required, must be taken as early as possible (no later than May) to officially determine participation in ESP.
