Getting Started What are you interested in? What are your strengths and weaknesses? Must have skills that go with the job Do you have any job-related experience? Are you willing to volunteer first? Will you need a job coach?

Job Coaches Very useful for individuals of any age who need extra support at the workplace What do they do? Help carry out job duties Provide one-on-one training tailored to the needs of the employee Work with the employer about jobs that can be developed or customized

Writing a Resume Type resume in a word document Keep it formal-use a template Write about any past work or volunteer experience Include information about your education Write about your strengths, capabilities, and interests
