Zufit Erlichman & Rotem Moav Addictions Project

What Is The Influence Of The Different Kinds Of Drugs On the Addict’s Physical Condition? The Paper’s Assumptions and Sample Questions: What are the risks of drug use? What are the long-term effects of the different drugs on the addict’s physical condition? What are the short-term effects of the different drugs on the addict’s physical condition?

What A Drug Is? What Is Drug Addiction? What Is A Drug Overdose? Drug A Drug is any substance, other than food, which is taken to change the way the body or brain functions. Narcotics, sedatives, tobacco, stimulants, marijuana, inhalants, hallucinogens, Phencyclidine-e are the major drugs of abuse. All have one thing in common: they affect the user's feelings, perceptions, and behavior. Most of these drugs affect the user in physical ways as well, but they are abused because of their psychoactive (mind-altering) properties. The user does not fully know the effects of the drug, why the drug has the effects, and what are the problems taking the drugs. Drug dependence is the need for a drug which results in the continuous or periodic use of that drug. This need can be characterized by mental and/or physical changes in the user which makes it difficult for them to control or stop their drug use. They believe that they must have the drug to feel good, or normal, or just to get by. This mental aspect of drug dependence is often called psychological dependence. An overdose of drugs is any amount which produces an acute and dangerous reaction. A severely low breathing rate, stupor, or coma are indicative of a drug overdose.

The Risks Of Drug Use: b Diseases: Hepatitis, Aids, Collapsed veins and other infections. b Overdose: Many users overdose after obtaining high quality of a certain drugs without knowing it. b Death: Overdoses caused by drugs of any kind can depress the user’s respiratory and central nervous system and cause convulsions and even death. b Addiction: Drugs are extremely addictive, both physically and psychologically. b Withdrawal: The symptoms include nausea, watery eyes, runny nose, yawning cramps, loss of appetite, irriabiliy, tremors, panic, chills and sweating.

A Graph Showing Drug Use Among Young Adults:

Different kinds of drugs have a large influence on the human body, for example it causes changes in beathing rate and heart rate. The drugs are very addictive and a normal healthy person can easily get addicted to. A drug addict is exposed to many risks, the largest risks among them are infections and viruses such as HIV (Aids) and Hepatitis of all kinds. In addition, there is also a severe chance of harming human organs such as the liver. Most of the drugs are very expensive and illegal, however, once the addict gets fully addicted, the money does not count. An addict will do anything in order to have money for drugs. Therefore, there are many addicts who become criminals. People use drugs at the first place as a solution for various of problems they could not deal with anymore. Drugs make people feel good (high), they forget about their problems and create a new world on their own. They live the life that they want to live without any obligations. A drug user can be anyone, including a homeless man or woman and a rich teenager who has anything he or she wants.
