3 “Good Drugs vs. “Bad Drugs” Good drugs- drugs that can help a person Good drugs- drugs that can help a person -prescription drugs, over the counter, pain killers etc. Bad drugs- drugs that can harm/hurt a person Bad drugs- drugs that can harm/hurt a person -illegal-marijuana, heroin, cocaine, ecstasy etc. How can good drugs turn into bad drugs?

5 Ways that drugs enter the body Routes of Administration Orally-taken in through the mouth prescription pills, shrooms, ecstasy, chew/dip Injection- in through the skin heroin, steriods, birth control Inhalation- breathed in through the lungs (mouth) cigarettes, marijuana, inhalants, Nasal- absorbed through the nasal membranes (nose) cocaine, nasal spray
