What is an Integrated Management System? It is a management system that integrates all of an organization's systems and processes in to one complete framework, enabling an organization to work as a single unit with unified objectives.

Why an Integrated Management System? Helps to avoid and to balance conflicting objectives. Reduces costs. Creates consistency. Helps to coordinate activities between all levels of the organisation. Helps to harmonise and optimize workplace practices. Improves communication. Helps to focus the organisation on the achievement of business goals. Helps to eliminate conflicting responsibilities and relationships. Facilitates training and development.
