2 What is OSH-MS? A set of interrelated and interracting elements to establish and implement OSH policy and objective and to achieve this objective A part of organisation’s overall management system to manage risk

3 Aim ? Provide a method to assess and improve performance in prevention of workplace incidents and accident via effective management of hazards and risks in workplace

5 Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA)
OSH-MS standard is based on Deming cycle (1950): Plan Do Check Act Involves setting of OSH policy, allocation of resources, provision of skills & organisations, hazard identification and risk assessment Review of system for continue improvement of OSH performance Actual implementation and operation of OSH programme Monitor and measure programme against the OSH policy , objectives, legal and other requirement
