MULTIMEDIA ARTIST & ANIMATOR Heather Wright 5/9/14 1 hour Mrs. Miller

INTRODUCTION Have you ever wonder who made the animation & visual effects for TV, movies, video games, & other thing ? Well a multimedia artists & animations make all of those things. I am interested in being a multimedia artist & animator because I got a program that I could make characters on the computer & I love using it & love making characters & their life stories. I will be researching interface design, product design, advertising design,video,animation, visual effects, visual reality, film production, cinematography, media arts, knowledge management, multimedia learning, e-learning, interaction design, sound & music, visual communications & graphic design, creative content, media, culture,& humanities, game & edutainment, web, mobile,& informatics.

NATURE OF WORK 1.Create graphics. 2.Meet with clients, other animators, games designers, directors,& other staff to review deadlines. 3.Work with other animators & artists to make a move, game, or visual effect. 4.Research upcoming projects. 5.Make story boards that map out key scenes in animations.

WORKING CONDITIONS Multimedia artist & animations is a mental job. Multimedia artist & animations is a indoor job. I am going to be inside a building for 50 hours a week. My work environment will be my at my house or at studios in an office.

TQA I need a Bachelor’s degree to get the job. I plan to go to Collage of Arts & Technology. I will take advance art & computer classes to prepare myself for my career in the future.

RELATED OCCUPATIONS Art Director My responsibilities are to review & approve designs, art work, photography, & graphics made by the other staff, determine which photographs, art, or other design elements to use. My work conditions are I get a nice office. The job outlook is 3% My earnings would be $80,880. I choose this job because It seems like something I would like doing & it has a good pay too.

SUMMARY My feeling about my future job is I like it. My Earnings are good. I can have a good life with it. Also, I like doing my job as an art director. I also will like to be an multimedia artist & animator. The one thing I like being an multimedia artist & animator is to make stories & character. The one thing I don’t like doing as a multimedia artist & director are the deadlines. The one thing I like doing as an art director is to determine how best to represent a concept visually. One thing I don’t like doing as an art director is to develop detailed budgets & timelines. Those are the things I look forward/least with my careers field. My learning experience overall is that things have to be orderly. That you have lots of deadlines. You have to manage your tome wisely because of the deadline too. Also multimedia artist & animators do other things them create, they create graphics & other things. Also art directors they develop an artistic approach & style.
