Informatiseringscentrum How are you currently using OSPortfolio at your institution?  OSP 2.0 Pilot in 2005  Current Finishing up 2-2-x deployment  More Pilots in January and some full production as well  Three stage development environment (development, acceptance, production)  Mostly doing cosmetic work  Going to use: Forms, Template Based Presentations, Matrix, Glossary and Evaluations  Probably implementing a site per educational program

Informatiseringscentrum How are you currently using OSPortfolio at your institution? Portfolio concept used for  S elf evaluation of academic skills/competencies (reflection,feedback, showing progress)  Study career planning (personal development plan, personal action plans)  Teachers competencies (competence based education program) The focus is more towards a ‘development portfolio’ then toward a ‘showcase portfolio’. Some institutes also are trying to do something with assessing (the competencies during a 3 year program in several levels).

Informatiseringscentrum What are your goals for using OSPortfolio in the future Portfolio concept used for  We hope that during the next 5 years, every year some teaching institutes will start with the portfolio concept and with using OSP.  In 5 years we hope that 45 of the 65 educational programmes are started to use OSP.  Goals for the educational programs are:  Stimulating students to be responsible for their own growth process during their study career  Stimulating educational innovation  Stimulating the role of coach for the faculty staff members  Because the introduction of the tool is strong related with the educational embedding issues we don’t support that every body is free to use the tool without an educational concept of portfolio.
