Diego Rivera & Mosaic Mural Project Mrs. Bailey ASPIRA Haugan Middle School

Diego Rivera Rivera is famous for painting large cities in the cities of Mexico. He painted murals on the sides of buildings and on brick walls. He also created mosaic murals, huge pictures formed by gluing together pieces of small, colored clay tiles or colored bits of glass.

Diego Rivera

Our mosaic murals For this project, you will create group murals by creating a large drawing of a scene of your community and then dividing the pictures into smaller squares. You then cut the squares out and color them on your own with cray pas. In the end, you will put your squares back together to create your mosaic mural.
