2. Directions Each piece needs to be colored and decorated BEFORE being cut out. Cut out the walls and glue them to your base first. Solid lines are folds, and dotted lines are lines to be cut in the piece. Cut out the towers next, making sure to fold the tabs outward. Glue the turrets to the base. Attach the turret domes to the towers. Cut out the keep and attach to the base. Cut out the roof of the gatehouse and glue. Then cut out the base of the keep and attach the roof. Finally attach the gatehouse to the base. The entire project is due _________________________

12. Now that you have completed your castle, it is time to reflect on life in the Early Middle Ages. In a minimum 100 word response, choose one of the questions below to answer. Would you have liked to live back in the Medieval times? Explain. Why do we no longer have structures like castles? Why are they no longer necessary? Do you think castles will ever be needed in the future? Explain. Would the feudal system of government be effective today? Why or why not? Please type your response if possible. If not, be sure to write neatly in pencil, or blue or black pen. Your work will be displayed, and if your writing is not neat, it will be marked down!
