2. Diego was born on December 8, 1886, in Guanajuato, Mexico.
In 1892 his family moved to Mexico City
He attended the San Carlos Academy when he was 10 to take art classes. He was given a scholarship by the government.

In 1898 he enrolled as a full time art student.

Frieda Kahlo
Frieda was originally the student of Rivera, and was a big admirer of Rivera.
In 1928 Diego left his wife Lupe Marin, Diego moved back to the soviet union, they met once again and fell in love.
They were married in 1929 (3rd wife).

4. Detroit Industry of Arts
In 1932 Diego paint a 27 panel drawing in the Detroit Industry of Arts(DIA)
The mural was named The Detroit Industry Murals. It is one of Diego's surviving murals.
