1. Famous Painting Enlargement

2. Choose a picture from the file.

3. Grid off 1” squares directly on copy of painting. Remember it takes 2 marks to make a straight line. Number squares across top and letter down the sides.

4. Determine the size of enlargement, (2 times, 2 ½ times or 3 times). Cut cardboard to size. Draw enlarged grid on it.

5. Square by square copy while enlarging.

6. Choose YOUR color scheme—paint with tempera paint. Remember to keep it smooth, cover all the cardboard. Do not use paint straight from the bottle, make your own color.

7. Sign your painting, giving credit to the artist.

8. Fill out Assessment - turn in
