DO NOW - 5 minutes 1.Create a SAY MEAN MATTER chart for the quote: “Pyramus was the most handsome of young men & Thisbe was the fairest beauty of the East.” - Ovid in Metamorphoses 1. Why did Ovid make Pyramus & Thisbe the most beautiful teens in the East? 2. How would the story be affected if Pyramus & Thisbe were ugly? 3. How would the story be affected if one Was ugly and one was beautiful? Write in complete sentences

COLLABORATIVE STATION: PEARSON UNIT 2, LESSON 1 & 2 Task 1A: Kahoot! -15 min. Kahoot Quiz on Ovid Background questions Task 3: Read & Annotate P & T 15 – 20 min. VALUES: Pyramus values independence and freedom so that he could be with Thisbe.  He values love.  He values Thisbe.
