DIRECT STATION CLOSE READING:  We read key parts of Act Scene 5 aloud.  We Translate some dialogue into modern English. COLLABORATIVE THE FILM PROJECT  Create puppets and sets (backgrounds) for your filmed scenes.  You must film 5 scenes (1 scene from each act)  You must use all of the actual dialogue  You can make the characters look modern  You can change the characters names  You can change the setting (time, place)  All groups must film Act 5 Scene 3 (the final suicide scene)  CREATE: You can change the ending of the final scene  E.g. they don’t kill themselves, they run away to Barcelona, they get the families to stop fighting and become the king & queen of Verona, etc.
