1 Today’s Guiding Question: This question must be answered by the end of class today. You will write a CEL paragraph based on this question as an Exit Slip. 2 Do Now: 5 minutes Create a SAY MEAN MATTER about the quote below: “Sometimes pain is the only thing we understand, or at least, the only thing that Gets our attention.” Coach Falstad Brainiac Challenge: What is the definition of Prologue as found in plays, books, or movies?

3 COLLABORATIVE STATION: PEARSON UNIT 2, LESSON 8 & 9 TASK 1 - Quick Write: 5 min. 1.Write everything you know about Romeo & Juliet. 2.Write everything you know about Shakespeare.
